Buff-A-Cue Meatball Appetizer, Little Dipper Slow Cooker, Stove Top or Oven

I saw an ad from Sweet Baby Rays and knew it would be my next munchie for football season... Instead of wings (which would be great) I made a Buff-A-Cue Meatball Appy. Yep, it's pretty much what you'd think, half BBQ sauce, half wing sauce. I happened to have SBR's brand of both in the fridge, so that's what I used. This is a great little snack that's perfect with a nice cold beverage... But I do want to mention, it's for hot sauce lovers only! You will notice some heat:@)

I have a feeling my Little Dipper Slow Cooker is gonna get a work out this year!
I'll list what I did for the Little Dipper, you can click the link to see what SBR's suggests for wings.

Buff-A-Cue Meatball Appetizer-adapted from Sweet Baby Rays
7 oz frozen meatballs
1/4 C plus 2 Tblsp BBQ sauce
1/4 C plus 2 Tblsp hot sauce
  1. Place meatballs in Little Dipper Crock Pot.
  2. Mix sauces well, pour over meatballs.
  3. Plug in crock pot, place folded paper towel over vessel, add lid.
  4. Cook for 2 hours total, replace paper towel at one hour, stir when done, and serve with food picks.
Enjoy a munchie and have a happy day:@)

Corn on the Cob with Buffalo Wing Sauce and Blue Cheese Dressing -Instant Pot Pressure Cooker Option

Let's see, so far I've made Buffalo broccolizucchiniBrussels sprouts, cauliflower and butternut squash... Let's add some Corn on the Cob with Buffalo Wing Sauce and Blue Cheese Dressing to the list:@) If you're a hot sauce fan, you will love this! Cook the corn your favorite way, I used my Instant Pot pressure cooker, but I think a little char from the grill would be welcome too. Sweet corn and butter, spicy hot sauce, cold creamy blue cheese... Oh my, this was fun folks!

Pressure cooker corn on the cob:
Add 1 C water to vessel. Place cleaned corn in basket or on trivet.
Select 2 minutes, use automatic release, serve immediately.
It's my goal to eat as much farm fresh corn as I can this summer:@)

Corn on the Cob with Buffalo Wing Sauce and Blue Cheese Dressing
  1. Cook corn on the cob your favorite way.
  2. Roll in butter, slather in your favorite Buffalo Sauce (I used Frank's), drizzle with your favorite Blue Cheese Dressing.
  3. Optional: Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro.
  4. Not optional: Pass the napkins!
Enjoy summer's bounty and have a happy day:@)

Grill Pan Roasted Buffalo Medley-Chicken, Frozen Cauliflower, Celery, Peppers and Onion

Oh this was a great meal folks! I love the idea of these grill pan dinners, everything simply gets doused with olive oil and tossed into a screaming hot grill pan, 12-15 minutes later... Dinner is served:@) This Buffalo Medley could include anything that goes well with Buffalo sauce. Leftover pineapple? Go ahead and add it! A handful of Brussels sprouts? Yep, cut them in half and add them too.

My Walmart still sells frozen cauliflower for around 88 cents a bag... A great value!

Yummy, smoky and with a beautiful char.
Not a hot sauce lover? I think this would make a very tasty meal as is... Just sayin':@)

Grill Pan Roasted Buffalo Medley
As much, or as little, as you'd like:
boneless skinless chicken breast, 1" chunks
onion, 1" chunks
any color bell pepper, 1" chunks
celery, sliced 1/4" thick on the diagonal
frozen cauliflower, do not thaw
olive oil
S&P
Your favorite Buffalo sauce-I used Frank's
  1. Place grill pan on grill and pre-heat grill on high for 15 minutes.
  2. Place chicken and veggies in large bowl. Drizzle generously with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper, mix well.
  3. Toss into grill pan, try to spread out into single layer and reduce heat to medium/high. Set timer for 5 minutes and close grill cover.
  4. After 5 minutes give everything a stir, set timer for 5 more minutes and close lid again.
  5. After 5 minutes give everything a stir, leave lid up and let cook another 2-5 minutes or until everything is cooked through.
  6. Add to large bowl, generously pour your favorite Buffalo sauce over everything and toss well to coat.
Let's fire up the grill and have a happy day:@)

Dijon and Maple Wings -Oven, Grill or Deep Fried

My hardest decision about making these Dijon and Maple Wings was, how do I want to cook the chicken? Possibly splattering fat all over my new oven or outside on the grill in the cold? And honestly, at this time of year, I'd rather have my extra high calorie foods be Christmas cookies rather than something deep fried:@) So I ended up opting for the crispy oven method (which works especially well with a convection oven) and added a little warmth to the house as a bonus. But I will say, no matter how you cook them, you'll be happy you made them!

Dijon and Maple Wings-adapted from a link I lost-ugh...
This ratio is good for up to about 10 wings:
1/4 C Dijon Mustard
3 Tblsp Maple Syrup
1 tsp hot sauce
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp butter
~Mix everything in large bowl. Cook wings your favorite way and toss until well coated.
~Serve with napkins:@)

Eat well and have a happy day:@)

Saturday Snippet-Garlic Parmesan Wing Seasoning

Just popping in to let you know that I've been wanting to try the Garlic Parmesan Wing Seasoning from Walmart and finally picked some up. Really good stuff folks! They cook in the oven within 30 minutes and if you line your baking sheet with foil, the clean-up couldn't be easier. You will smell both the garlic and parm and it tastes great with the chicken. Don't hesitate to pick up a pack if you're looking for game day munchies this weekend:@)

My only suggestion is, if you don't have huge wings, start checking them for doneness at about 23-25 minutes. A few of mine did get a bit over done.

The seasoning packet I used.

Eat well, enjoy the games,
and have a happy weekend:@)

Grilled Zucchini with Buffalo Wing Sauce, Onions and Celery

This my friends, will most likely be my last zucchini post for 2018, twelve total this summer-you may now exhale:@) Let's see, so far I've added wing sauce to butternut squash, broccoli and Brussels sprouts. I've even slathered it on pineapple and peaches... What's next? Grilled Zucchini with Buffalo Wing Sauce, Onions and Celery. People don't generally think about grilling celery and I have to encourage you to try it once, you just might like it! This was a nice, zippy way to use up a zucchini, and one that's just a little unexpected.

Grilled Zucchini with Buffalo Wing Sauce, Onion and Celery
~This really isn't a "recipe" folks, more of a toss it together and throw it into a grill pan idea...
zucchini, washed, cut into 1/2" chunks
onion, 1/4" slices-lots of it:@)
celery, 1/4" slices
olive oil
lemon pepper seasoning or your favorite seasoned salt
few grinds of pepper
buffalo sauce, your favorite-I used Frank's
  1. Toss zucchini, onion and celery with a little olive oil.
  2. Sprinkle with seasoned salt, pepper, and drizzle with a liberal amount of wing sauce. Mix well.
  3. Pour into preheated grill basket over high heat, let sit for 5 minutes, stir and cook for another 5 minutes or until your desired char and tenderness.
  4. Serve with a healthy drizzle of buffalo sauce.
Let's enjoy the ~very~ last of the summer zucchini and have a happy day:@)

Grilled Nashville Hot Chicken Wings

Ma brings me the seasonal magazine her supermarket offers shoppers, I love looking through it for nuggets of inspiration! These Grilled Nashville Hot Chicken Wings are my slight twist on a recipe I saw in the magazine for drumsticks. What makes them different than traditional wings? The addition of olive oil, garlic powder and smoked paprika. I suggest mixing the sauce and allowing it to mingle while you heat up the grill and cook the chicken.

I used my 'mess free, stress free method' of cooking chicken on the grill HERE, I placed it on a disposable aluminum tray.
Cooked the drumlettes closer to the direct heat, and wings a little more towards indirect heat since they cook faster.
No flare-ups, and the greasy tray... Well that just gets tossed, I thought you might like that:@)

I do have several brands of hot sauce to choose from in the fridge... Yep, I do.
Did you know that Sweet Baby Ray's has a hot sauce out now?
It's thicker than most, coats things well, is nice and salty and a great addition for anyone that loves some heat!
I used the SBR's for this batch of wings.
The chicken can really be cooked via any method you like best.
As Sweet Baby Ray's would say... It's all about the sauce:@)

Grilled Nashville Hot Chicken Wings-from Savory Magazine, May 2018 Edition
1/4 C hot sauce-your favorite brand
1 Tblsp olive oil
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp cayenne-I just added a shake or two
3 lbs chicken
salt and pepper, or seasoned salt
  1. Whisk first six ingredients in large bowl, set aside.
  2. Heat grill to medium hot.
  3. Sprinkle chicken with S&P or your favorite seasoned salt-I used Lawry's Original.
  4. Place chicken on disposable foil pan and arrange so drumlettes are towards one side and winglettes to the other side.
  5. Place pan on grill with drumlettes closer to direct heat, winglettes towards indirect heat.
  6. Close grill lid, turn chicken after 10 minutes.
  7. Grill with lid closed 10 minutes more or until cooked through.
  8. Add hot chicken to sauce, toss to coat chicken well.

My Buffalo Chicken Dip -Small Batch Little Dipper Crock Pot, Oven or Grill

Do you know what tomorrow night is? It's the first Eagles pre-season game, Woo-Hoo, football is back! I think I'm gonna play with my new Little Dipper Crock Pot this season:@) I love the smaller size, approx 2 C, and it will show that you can still have fun with snacks even if you're making something for one or two people (which is a theme I've always wanted to expand upon on the blog). I'll also suggest a use for leftovers, if there are any... First up, Buffalo Chicken Dip. This is my twist on it, my version is a little crunchier than most with diced onion,  jalapeno (or bell pepper) and celery.

The recipe can be easily increased for a larger crowd and it can be heated in a Crock Pot,
in the oven or on a tailgating grill too.
And yes, I just ~may have~ called this lunch and did give it my 'darn good' label:@)
This is the first time I've ever bought canned chicken, seriously?
You could also use leftover or rotisserie chicken.
I picked up a 5 oz can at Walmart for 94¢,
after I drained it well I ended up with a generous 1/2 C of meat.
Leftovers? Wing lovers would enjoy this served cold schmeared on a bagel... It was amazing!
A more tame option, heat it up and stir into some macaroni for lunch.

My Buffalo Chicken Dip
Ratio = For each:
5 oz can chicken drained well or generous 1/2 C shredded meat
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 C cheddar cheese, shredded and room temperature
2 Tblsp onion, 1/4" dice
2 Tblsp celery, 1/4" dice
2 Tblsp jalapeno or green bell pepper, 1/4" dice-I used a cleaned 'peno
2 + Tblsp Frank's hot sauce or buffalo sauce to taste-I added 2 tsp more to make it hotter for me
1 Tblsp blue cheese dressing
  1. Add everything to crock pot. I covered my Little Dipper Crock Pot, it took about 1 hour to heat through. (Cold cheese will take about 2 hours.) I stirred it every 15 minutes so it didn't burn on the sides. Lift lid off to the side so condensation doesn't drain back into the dip.
  2. Alternately: Mix everything and add to baking dish or small foil pan for grill. Bake at 350 degrees, uncovered, for 20 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Or place over indirect medium/hot heat, uncovered, for 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
  3. Serve with tortilla chips, ripple potato chips, Fritos type corn chips, toast or pita crisps, or vegetables (celery, bell peppers and carrots.)
Enjoy a munchie, root for your team, and have a happy day:@)

Saturday Snippets-Junkin' Milk Glass Lamp, $1 Barbie Chair Alert and Buffalo Cheezies?

I've always loved milk glass and have a true soft spot for hobnail milk glass. This little beauty works great, takes a 3-way bulb, will find a home in my bedroom and was only $5 at Goodwill:@) Had to hit three thrift stores before anything caught my eye... but I'm glad we made the rounds!

I saw these cute little chairs at Dollar Tree, they are intended to be cell phone stands but I immediately saw a Barbie chair. The cashier told me I was the third person that day (and it was only 10:30 AM) that said the same thing. Had to chuckle because she said they'd sell more if they ~were~ called Barbie chairs! I suggest they correct that with a Sharpie...
DIY pipe cleaner puppy for Barbie HERE.

I took the little stickers off and trimmed the residual glue, but that's up to you and girls might like the bling. I will say that silver one hid the seam up top.

And I'll end with a personal note to the good folks at Herr's... Herr's is a local company and it makes high quality chips and snack foods. One of my favorite guilty pleasures is their Jalapeno Popper Cheezies-give the person that created them a raise please! I recently picked up Buffalo Blue Cheese Cheezies and highly recommend them too. Keep up the good work, I always look forward to your new and/or novelty products:@)

Buffalo Bake-Pierogie, Chicken Nugget and Broccoli Sheet Pan Dinner

I've been thinking about doing a Buffalo Bake post for a long time, then when I saw Buffalo Pierogies on the Mrs. T's site, well, I just had to make it happen! Now, is this a Weight Watchers Points dinner? Ah, no. Is this an easy, toss everything onto a sheet pan and let the oven do all the work while you relax dinner? Yes:@) Can we skip the broccoli and turn this into a pan full of party munchies? Absolutely! Possible additions: Onion rings, sweet potato fries, tator tots, battered frozen veggies, etc. Add anything that bakes in about the same amount of time and tastes good with Buffalo Sauce.

Love cheese? Go ahead and sprinkle some cheddar on top for the last couple minutes of baking.
Dipping sauce? Of course blue cheese or how about ranch or honey mustard, or ~dare I say~ even more hot sauce:@)

Buffalo Bake
Mini Pierogies-I took them out of the freezer to let them begin to thaw for 30 minutes before baking
Breaded frozen chicken strips or nuggets
Broccoli, cut into larger bite size pieces
Wing Sauce, your favorite-I used Frank's
  1. Spray sheet pan with cooking spray.
  2. Place everything on sheet pan, generously douse with hot sauce, mix well to coat. Spread food out into a single layer, not overlapping.
  3. Bake in 425 degree oven, 10 minutes, flip, bake 5 minutes more.
  4. Give an extra sprinkle of hot sauce once out of the oven.
  5. Serve with dipping sauce if desired.

Holiday BBQ Sauce-great with turkey, chicken, beef or pork (Doctored Sweet Baby Rays)

Whether you choose to slather this on grilled meat, broiled wings or use it as a dipping sauce... It's good stuff folks! For a Thanksgiving and Christmas flare I've added cinnamon, cloves and orange to Sweet Baby Rays for this Holiday BBQ Sauce and we all thought this was a great flavor combination. I served it with Baked Buffalo Chicken Nuggets (my new favorite HERE)... Very ~very~ nice:@)

You know you want some:@)

How about heating up some meatballs as an appy for your next football or holiday party...

Holiday BBQ Sauce
1 C Sweet Baby Rays original
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Baked Buffalo Chicken Nuggets

Wow, these Baked Buffalo Chicken Nuggets were such a nice surprise, I really, really, enjoyed them! The chicken has great flavor and I think most people would find that they really don't have any heat as is, just big, bold juicy chicken and crispy breadcrumbs. I'm showing Frank's Hot Sauce and Ken's Blue Cheese as dipping options. Gotta tell ya folks, these were so good I'm looking forward to making them for the boys one Sunday dinner:@)
Update: Just made this for the second third time... this one's a keeper folks!
Observation: These seem to crisp up better in my little convection oven than in the big oven.

Baked Buffalo Chicken Nuggets-from The Stay At Home Chef
2-3 boneless, skinless, chicken breasts, cut into 1" chunks
1 C plain breadcrumbs
1/2 C fresh grated Parmesan cheese-I used pre-grated in the jar
1/2 tsp salt
3 Tblsp Italian seasoning
1/2 C Frank's RedHot Sauce or Frank's Wing Sauce
1/2 C butter, melted
  1. Mix breadcrumbs, Parm, salt and Italian seasoning in bowl.
  2. Mix hot sauce and butter in another bowl.
  3. Dip chicken into sauce/butter mixture.
  4. Drop into crumb mixture and pack crumbs on chicken well.
  5. Place on parchment covered baking sheet.
  6. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until chicken is done.
  7. Serve with hot sauce and/or blue cheese dressing if desired. Honey Mustard sauce sounds good too.

Saturday Snippets-Two Ingredient BBQ Pumpkin Seeds, Black Cats and Turkey Toes???

Save the seeds as you're carving Jack-O-Lanterns this weekend folks, these Two Ingredient BBQ Pumpkin Seeds are very tasty and nice and easy. Great around the bonfire or as a football party munchie... Adult beverage optional, but highly recommended:@) I always like it when I can use as much of the pumpkin as possible, I even take mine down to the creek when I'm done with it and break it as a treat for the critters.

Walmart has a great selection of new 94¢ wing and dip mixes and I thought the BBQ one would be perfect.
Oh, and there's a traditional wing hot sauce one that I think would be good with pumpkin seeds too... just sayin'.
  1. Clean the pumpkin seeds of all stringy orange innards, I ended up with about 1 1/4 C seeds.
  2. Toss seeds onto a paper towel to lightly drain.
  3. Toss seeds onto foil or parchment lined baking sheet, and sprinkle with mix. Use your fingers and really massage and spread the mix all over the wet seeds. You will end up with mix stuck to your fingers, that's ok, just wash it off, there will still be plenty of flavor on the seeds.
  4. Bake at 275 degrees for 10 minutes, stir, bake for another 10 minutes and stir. Check the seeds, if they are dry they are done, if not return them to the oven and check on them every 5 minutes or so until they are dry.
  5. Allow to cool completely and enjoy!
These Smoked Paprika Pumpkin Seeds HERE are another great option.

Much to my surprise-
I walked outside while decorating my Halloween Tree and saw this spooky little guy...

BOO!!!

And finally, don't forget to pick up a pack of candy corn on clearance...
You'll need it to make Turkey Toes HERE for Thanksgiving:@)

Have a Happy Halloween Weekend everyone-

Three Hot Sauce Buffalo Chicken Popper Dip

If you like hot sauce, chances are you have more than one brand in the house. Um, I like hot sauce:@) My mailman mentioned making some amazing wings by mixing the three below (and adding a stick of butter...) I decided to use that as inspiration, minus the stick of butter, and whipped up this Three Hot Sauce Buffalo Chicken Popper Dip, it comes together fairly quickly and can easily be doubled or quadrupled for your next football party. As written, the recipe is good for one or two people.

Instant Pot/pressure cooker: half of a frozen breast, 1 C water, liberal sprinkling of seasoned salt, set time to 28 minutes.
Automatic release, remove chicken and shred.
The dip is really good with celery, I bet it'd be great with sliced peppers too.
This dip is piggy approved!

Three Hot Sauce Buffalo Chicken Popper Dip
1/2 C shredded, cooked chicken
1/2 C shredded cheese, either Jack or cheddar-I had cheddar
2 oz cream cheese, softened
1 Tblsp Frank's Hot Sauce
1 Tblsp Crystals Hot Sauce
1 Tblsp Texas Pete Hot Sauce
1 tsp butter, softened-add more if desired
1 good size jalapeno, 1/8" dice-I cleaned my pepper of seeds and membrane
breadcrumbs for the top
  1. Mix everything well, pat into small baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  3. Serve warm with tortilla chips, potato chips, crackers, celery, etc.

Grilled Buffalo Butternut Squash and Pineapple

I've always associated butternut squash with the fall but this Grilled Buffalo Butternut Squash with Pineapple is a great summer side dish! The sweet squash and pineapple play nicely with hot sauce, and if you're inclined... Some sliced jalapeno would be a colorful addition too:@) Please do serve this with either an extra shot of hot sauce once off the grill or even better yet, pass the bottle at the table.
Leftovers? Mix with black beans (maybe some pork) and serve on a salad or in a burrito-very nice!

Grilled Buffalo Butternut Squash and Pineapple
Approx 2 lbs butternut squash, peeled, seeded and cut into 1/2" chunks
15oz can pineapple chunks, drained well
1/4 C buffalo sauce-I used Frank's Wing Sauce
2 Tblsp oil-I used vegetable oil
a few grinds black pepper
salt to taste before serving
  1. Mix squash, pineapple, hot sauce, oil and pepper and let marinate for 30 minutes. I use a Lock-N-Lock bowl and flip it over occasionally.
  2. Heat grill pan to ~hot~, approx 15 minutes on gas grill. Spoon squash/pineapple into grill pan, reserve marinade and close grill cover. Reduce heat to medium/high.
  3. Allow to begin to char then stir. Cooking time will be approximately 20 minutes depending on how thick the squash is. Stir and check periodically for tenderness and pour what's left of the marinade over the squash/pineapple the last couple minutes of grilling.
  4. Serve with additional hot sauce.
Let's get grillin' and have a happy day:@)

Orange Buffalo Boneless Chicken with Jalapeno

So I had some marmalade in the fridge and a rainy day off from work... Yep, Orange Buffalo Boneless Chicken with Jalapeno sounded kinda fun, and it was:@) This is a nice twist on my Guiltless Buffalo Chicken, although the addition of jam might make it a little more naughty-just sayin'. Serve this with cocktail picks as an appy/munchie for game day food or over rice and call it dinner-both are winners to me! Oh, and don't hesitate to add more jalapeno, you know, if your crowd's into that sort of thing... I'm thinking each bite of chicken should have some 'peno!

Orange Buffalo Boneless Chicken with Jalapeno
Approx 1/2 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast cut across grain on bias into 1/2" thick slices and then into 1"cubes
1-2 large jalapenos cut into 1/8" circles-I cut the seeds and membrane out of mine, leave in if desired
drizzle of olive oil for pan
2 Tblsp hot sauce-I used Frank's Wing Sauce
2 Tblsp orange marmalade-I used Smuckers
  1. Mix hot sauce and marmalade, set aside.
  2. Add jalapenos to pan with drizzle of olive oil. Heat pan to medium stirring 'penos every once in a while.
  3. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Add chicken to pan, cook for a few minutes until pink is just gone.
  4. Add hot sauce mixture, cook until thick and bubbly, just a couple minutes.
  5. Serve as is or over rice.

Buffalo Wing Sauce Roasted Broccoli

Happy Super Bowl Week! In my book that means it's time for wings... Well, wing sauce at the very least. My Buffalo Brussels Sprouts proved to me that some vegetables are great with spicy wing sauce so I couldn't wait to try this Buffalo Wing Sauce Roasted Broccoli! Lots of ~big~ flavor here folks:@)Whether you're still on your New Year's diet, a converted vegetarian missing wings or just want to amp up the flavor of a side dish, don't hesitate to give this a try.

Buffalo Wing Sauce Brussels Sprouts

I thought this might be a good combination and it sure was! And since it's 'sprout season and they've been on sale for cheap... I ~just may have~ made some three times recently:@) These Buffalo Brussels Sprouts (with or without the butter and breadcrumb noodles) are a fun way to perk up a fall side dish, wing lovers will be happy.
Hot and tangy, I used Frank's Wing Sauce.

 Buffalo Brussels Sprouts
1 lb Brussels Sprouts, trimmed, cleaned and cut into fourths
2 Tblsp bacon fat (can use olive oil or maybe even butter)
S&P
Your favorite wing sauce-I used Frank's
  1. Add bacon fat to medium hot skillet, once it melts add the sprouts. (I like to make sure a cut side is laying on the skillet).
  2. Let sprouts get brown, stir and flip them to the other cut side. Once that gets brow, stir them.
  3. Add a Tblsp or two of water to the skillet and cover with lid. Let them steam for a couple minutes or until desired tenderness.
  4. Remove lid, liberally cover with hot sauce and heat through.

Buffalo Wing Pretzel Sticks -with smaller batch recipe

These Buffalo Wing Pretzel Sticks would be a nice addition to your next football party or holiday get together. I loved the bold flavors and they are really good dipped in blue cheese dressing, but then again... what isn't:@) Don't hesitate to give these a try folks, especially if your crowd is into Frank's hot sauce.
Note: I did try this with square pretzels that had holes... the sauce got stuck and glumped up, not a good idea.
It's best to stick with pretzel sticks for this recipe.

Buffalo Wing Pretzels-from Mom on Timeout
**See below for 1-2 person batch
1/2 C buffalo wing sauce-I used Frank's
1/2 C butter
1 Tblsp Worcestershire sauce

Crispy Oven Baked Frank's Sweet Ginger Rajili Wings

While I eat wings year-round they seem extra tasty during football season:@) Frank's Sweet Ginger Rajili Hot Sauce is a new food to me and one I highly recommend for wings! It would be a nice exotic addition to that wing tasting party ~someone~ keeps suggesting... I made crispy oven wings, added a smidge of butter and slathered them in the hot sauce. Seriously good stuff folks!

Here's a pic of the hot sauce, it's usually on sale at one of the local stores for around $2 a bottle.

Frank's Sweet Ginger Rajili Hot Sauce Crispy Oven Baked Chicken Wings
wings and drumlettes
cornstarch-approx 1 Tblsp per 6-8 wings, you need enough to just coat the wings
cooking spray for rack
butter-I use just a little, maybe 1/4-1/2 tsp per 5 wings
Frank's Sweet Ginger Rajili Hot Sauce
  1. Cover baking sheet with foil.
  2. Coat cooking rack with cooking spray for easier clean-up. Place rack on baking sheet.
  3. Sprinkle wings with S&P and toss with cornstarch to coat. Place on baking rack. Leave space between wings.
  4. Bake at 400 degrees for 50 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
  5. Remove from oven, toss with butter and heavy coating of hot sauce.
Eat well, pass the napkins and have a happy day:@)
