This Candy Bar Apple Salad is a nice way to use up a couple extra Snickers bars, while balancing the sweet with some healthy apples. It's cool, creamy, crunchy, and comes together fairly quickly. And if you want to tuck the candy away for a couple weeks, it would be a great side dish, or dessert, at Thanksgiving too. And I purposely used red and green apples to hint that you might want to add the recipe to your Christmas list of ideas as well:@) Serving it in a fancy trifle bowl would certainly make it holiday ready!
Don't want to use Snickers?
I think this would be very good using apples, peanuts and raisins...
And maybe some dark chocolate chips:@)
Another fun idea, dice everything a little smaller
and serve as a dip with those flat, thin, scoopable pretzels.
