Spritz Cookie Variations

As we're just entering the heart of holiday baking season I thought I'd revisit some great Spritz Cookie Variations! For my family it just wouldn't be Christmas without Spritz so I'm always looking for new ways to decorate them and different flavors. Click the title for recipes.

I've been on a campaign to encourage folks to use their cookie press throughout the year ever since I started blogging... Did you know that Oxo has two new sets of discs out? Yep, Amazon has them, there's a spring and fall set and I love that turkey!!! Might just have to make sure I get them before next Thanksgiving:@)

If you'd like more spritz recipes you can click my Recipe Index Page and scroll down to Cookies, 11 (and growing) spritz recipes have been grouped together there.

Happy Holiday Baking Everyone-Have Fun:@)

  8. Good morning Lynn, Love the spritz cookies you shared. I 'finally' found my spritz cookie maker. It was missing and in my garage. How did that happen? Smile. The sister's are planning a Christmas cookie day this year. Fun times.

  13. What fun variations of a fun cookie! We make Spritz trees at Christmas. I still have my old press, the kind where I turn the handle to make the dough squeeze through.

  14. so cute. my sis always made spritz cookies along with the 'standard' iced sugar cookies for Christmas. she would send care packages to me in texas from wisconsin as she knew i was so far from family during the holidays. she's been gone 13 yrs now. always think of her when i see spritz cookies. :)

  41. Cookie note cards are a great idea! Back when I was first married, I had a metal cookie press that worked well but broke. My daughter bought me a plastic one and I just cannot get my dough to come out in the nice shapes with it. I'm going to try some of your spritz recipes, thanks for sharing them.

  42. What a terrific idea for note cards - I would expect they come with the recipe?? I hope I can pin these because I will definitely want to check out the recipes when I have more time!! They look delish - but I wonder how I might tweak them to be gluten free. Let me know if you have any ideas on that score.
    Joy!
