Grilled Zucchini with Badia Sazon Completa & Garden Planters Update

Ding-ding-ding, let the zucchini games begin... This Grilled Zucchini with Badia Complete Seasoning calls for nothing more than some onion, a light coating of olive oil and a very liberal shake of the seasoning. Then it all gets tossed into a hot grill pan. What gives it an extra burst of flavor is a nice sprinkling of the seasoned salt right before serving. I did have a little green pepper to use up, but honestly, I'd just use the squash and onion next time. Nice and easy:@)

My newest favorite seasoned salt, I get this size bottle at Dollar Tree:

but we had torrential rain and thunderstorms for a couple days.
Followed now by three days of 93 degrees...
Last week folks had both the heater and air conditioner on in the same week!
Odd weather...
Despite the rain my portulaca tower is beginning to fill in and color up nicely:@)

My new jalapeno plant had a major set-back but seems to be bouncing back with the warm weather and sunshine.
First pot of string beans should be ready to pick next weekend.
The planter of tomatoes and basil is very happy!!!

My squash babies, and yep, I am hand pollinating as best I can.

And I'll leave you with a little garden whimsy...

Have a great week:@)

  4. The grilled zukes look good and now I will search for the seasoning. But your pots of veggies and hanging basket are amazing. I have no success with veggies in pots..dismal failures. The hanging basket is beautiful and the flamingo puts it over the top....well done.

  5. Your planters are growing like gangbusters! I've seen those Badia spices at one of our larger markets and I'll add it to my shopping list. It will be a yummy way to shake up my seasonings!
