Having to get to work during a winter storm is the pits! I worked as a nurse for 33 years and the pressure was always on.... they would even come and get us!!!
My boys are grown and on their own and while the day job puts food on the table, it doesn't feed the soul. So this Philly Girl started Pig In Mud. Please join me as I welcome each season and holiday through brief posts focusing on home cooking, baking, crafts and Barbie fun. I hope you find this a happy place that provides inspiration:@) Lynn

ReplyDeleteStay warm and heat up the soup!
ReplyDeleteOh no! So sorry, that's not fun!! That doggie is adorable!
ReplyDeleteI hope your weekend improves, Lynn! It's no fun to drive to work in the terrible weather.
ReplyDeleteWe just returned from a warm-weather vacation spot where the weather wasn't warm! Crazy winter. Glad it's almost over. Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteI love that picture! I hate it when employers want their people to come in when it's dangerous.
ReplyDeleteOh so sorry Lynn...no electricity on top of heavy snow adds insult to injury! Hope you're warm and cozy the rest of the weekend. ♥
