~Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree... Ok, I'll spare you my singing:@) But I will share this last minute fun idea to spruce up a corn bread for the holidays, as well as a few others from the archives. I simply painted some gel food coloring onto the pan and let it dry for a bit before I sprayed it with cooking spray and added the batter. I was pretty pleased with the way it turned out although I'd vary the size of the red ornaments next time.

All such wonderful ideas! I never thought of painting the pan with food coloring before baking cornbread---that's a nifty trick. I love the stained glass jello tree, too!
