I am embarrassed to tell you that I've never had beets 😱 I think it's because my mother always ate them and I thought they were so slimy as a child I just couldn't do it! I need to grow up and give them a try :)
ReplyDeleteI've made some very similiar. They were called Harvard Beets. You know, I haven't made them in a very long time. Guess it's time to try them again. Thanks for the remind.
ReplyDeleteI'm team beet with you. These look fantastic!!!
ReplyDeleteI've made the Harvard beets, too, but I like the sound of this spicy, orange version, Lynn. I'll be giving this recipe a try.
ReplyDeleteThey sound wonderful! I just wish my husband would join the beet-lovers club :(
ReplyDeleteLynn, The color of your beets is beautiful! Alas, I only like beets if they're thinly sliced, oven roasted and disguised as pretty colored potato chip :)
