I changed a recipe from Allrecipes, the original calls for mixing everything and cooking the sausage in a crock pot. I just mixed the jelly with mustard and subbed onion powder so I could use it as a dip.
Smoked Sausage Appy with Hot Pepper Jelly/Mustard Dip
1/4 C pepper jelly
2 Tblsp yellow mustard
1/8 tsp onion powder
Smoked sausage, grilled and cut into bite-size circles
~Mix sauce well, serve with fun food picks and enjoy!
My crew really liked this one, it's a little sweet and a little zingy all at the same time.
This reminds me of a sauce my mother used to make that I loved! Thanks for this recipe,Lynn!
