Works For Me Wednesday-Unclogging Slow Drains

Hey everyone! Since "renting" a handy man costs $65-$100 an hour... sometimes I decide to put on the big girl panties and try to fix things all-by-myself. The bathroom sink was draining painfully slowly so I walked down the plumbing isle at Walmart and this little beauty caught my eye:
It's about 18" long and has those little yellow barbs that catch hair etc in the pipe so it can be removed.
Insert, push down, pull out (slowly-yuck) and toss. Easy peasy!
Full disclosure: I did wipe it off carefully in an upward motion with paper towels
and ran it down the other side of the drain too.
Now, am I saying this is a cure-all? No, but it's sure worth a try before you call the plumber!
