I'm so envious. I raked leaves Friday, and it was cold out there. Yesterday we went to a basketball game. Today is my granddaughter's birthday party. Those leaves are still out there, just waiting for me.
Ouch! Give yourself a day off to recuperate. Our leaves are just getting started, but I still have a son at home who takes care of most of the raking/jumping-in-leaves that goes on around here.
I know that feeling well, and I have a problem with pain relievers, the NSAIDs are not good for me. Take a day off and relax - it will soon be time to roast the turkey! xo
I'm impressed. I'm sure the leaves were quite an undertaking. We used to love to rake the leaves into a pile and jump in them when we were kids. Even now, I shuffle my feet in leaves and then kick them to see how high they will fly. :o)
Girl! I hear ya. I managed to bag up 2 humungous garbage bags of leaves yesterday and have maybe another 2 to go. This weekend has been so windy it was defeating the cause. My sciatic nerve pain is killing me and just the idea that I am not finished slays me. Hope your aches are less painful today. Susanne :)
Our leaves are being blown by the wind & rain off the trees by the bushel at this very moment. I highly recommend an adult beverage to wash down your ibuprofen :)
My boys are grown and on their own and while the day job puts food on the table, it doesn't feed the soul. So this Philly Girl started Pig In Mud. Please join me as I welcome each season and holiday through brief posts focusing on home cooking, baking, crafts and Barbie fun. I hope you find this a happy place that provides inspiration:@) Lynn
He does seem to be having fun! I can relate to the bath and chaser! Have a quiet Sunday.

Kids can never resist a pile of leaves!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got that done... now you can sit back and relax... as long as you're not in too much pain, lol!

The joy of small children is boundless. Isn't it?
ReplyDeleteGotta love that BenGay! And a good strong pair of hands to apply it. :-)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good remedy for a days hard work.
ReplyDeleteI hear ya Lynn! Can't do anything mildly strenuous without feeling it! You'll need to rest for the next week! :o)

ReplyDeleteA soak in epsom salts always works for me. By the time you are done, new leaves will have fallen!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
Why does it hurt so much to rake? My lower back always does me in.
