Honey BBQ Kielbasa Bites-Little Dipper Crock Pot, Oven, Stove, Grill or Microwave Appetizer

When it comes to party appetizers, it doesn't get much easier than these Honey BBQ Kielbasa Bites folks. Simply, slice, mix, heat, and eat:@) The beauty of it is, you can heat them any way you'd like. Toss it into a slow cooker-great. Toss it into the microwave-faster and easier. Tailgating-heat on the grill. Or use a more traditional oven or stovetop. As for the sauce, use your favorite brand and as a general rule of thumb, the bar-b-que sauce to honey ration is about 2:1. But I suggest you taste it, and adjust the sweetness, you know your crowd... 

Honey BBQ Kielbasa Bites
  • Little Dipper Crock Pot-Approx 1/2 rope smoked sausage. 1/4 C BBQ sauce, 2 Tblsp honey. Add paper towel under lid, cook for 3 hours.
  • Stove top: Brown sausage, add BBQ sauce and honey, mix well, heat through and serve.
  • Oven: Mix all, add to baking dish. Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes or until heated through.
  • Microwave: Mix all, add to microwave safe bowl. Microwave at 1-2 minutes increments until heated through.
  • Grill: Mix all, add to disposable pan. Place pan over indirect heat, stir occasionally until heated through.
