Kielbasa BBQ Ranch Appetizer -Little Dipper Crock Pot or Larger Slow Cooker

I had some kielbasa in the freezer and thought it might be fun to whip up these Kielbasa BBQ Ranch Appys for the Eagles game on Sunday. The sausage was great, the game... Not so much, ugh. The ranch dressing tames the BBQ sauce and really adds another layer of flavor. Kielbasa isn't something most folks think of as a party appetizer, so it's a little different. An extra bonus, it only calls for three ingredients. I wouldn't hesitate to make these again folks:@)
I chose to brown my sausage a bit with the George Foreman.
Small batch = for each 1/2 C BBQ sauce, add 1 1/2 tsp dry ranch mix (or a smidge more).

Kielbasa BBQ Ranch Appetizer -from The Frugal Girls
12-16 oz smoked kielbasa
16-18 oz BBQ sauce
One envelope dry ranch mix-approx 3 Tblsp
  1. Cut sausage into bite size pieces, add to slow cooker.
  2. Mix BBQ sauce and ranch, pour over sausage.
  3. Put paper towels under lid.
  4. Cover, cook on high for 1.5 hours or low for 2.5 hours or until heated through.
  5. Serve with fun food picks.
Good luck if your team is still in the playoffs!
Eat well and have a happy day:@)
