If you're looking for the easiest snack or dessert for Cinco de Mayo, these
Mexican Brownies will fit the bill! I simply added some cinnamon and cayenne pepper to a Dollar Store 8x8 pan brownie mix. The flavors are subtle, nothing really overpowering, chocolatey goodness with a hint of cinnamon, and just the slightest background heat... They really are different and I think these might just become a part of our May 5th dinner going forward:@)
I picked up a ~huge~ 11oz jar of Wilton sprinkles after Christmas at Walmart for 50¢,
the red, green and white is perfect for Cinco de Mayo too!
