What could possibly make these cookies any better? Well, while really good as is... A light drizzle of white chocolate to the tops would be pretty:@)
Happy Holidays Chips and Chunks Cookies -inspired by That Skinny Chick Can Bake
1 C butter, softened
3/4 C sugar
3/4 C brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 Tblsp orange zest
3/4 tsp cinnamon for mild, 1 tsp for bolder flavor-you know your crowd
2 1/4 C A/P flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt (if using unsalted butter)
2 C of Chips and Chunks, any combination of chocolate and white chips, nuts, cranberries or raisins equaling 2 cups.
- Cream butter and sugars.
- Add eggs, vanilla, orange zest and cinnamon, mix well.
- Add flour, baking soda and salt (if using). Mix until just incorporated.
- Stir in chips and chunks.
- Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.
