Bunny Kisses-a bloggy blooper

On today's episode of Bloggy Bloopers... "Those rabbits aren't hopping, they're  flopping down the bunny trail Johnny"...

In my mind's eye these little Bunny Kisses were going to be sooooo cute and stand up on the serving platter. In reality they fell over in the oven, my homemade dough was a little too soft to shape correctly and they required a little more... patience than this Philly Girl has. But I wanted to share the idea because I'm sure someone will make them amazing:@) I did put them in the freezer for 10-15 minutes before baking, thought it couldn't hurt.

We're talking pie crust and Hershey's Kisses, that's it folks!
I cut strips of dough about 1" wide, wrapped and formed it around the Kiss,
gave the top a twist and tried to shape ears.

Wishing you all Bunny Kisses...
Happy Easter Baking:@)

  4. Another really cute idea! I wonder how a sugar cookie dough would make them a little more 'perky'? LOL

  5. I don't think they flopped at all Lynn! I think they're adorable! AND if they have chocolate inside, that's even better!

  6. I'm with Jenna and think they're adorable, Lynn, and I'll bet so tasty, too. I would love one just a little warm from the oven...mmmmm!

  7. How do they taste? They look adorable. I was worried because I thought these might be the bunny rolls I recently pinned.

  9. What a cute idea Lynn and I know they were delish! They don't look blooperish at all! I was just thinking of Flopsy, Mopsy and Peter Cottontail when I saw the comment above :)

  10. Very cute and so easy. You should name them one of the Cottontail gag's name.
