Make the syrup before you start the pancakes then just set it aside, it will stay nice and warm.
Quick Homemade Blueberry Syrup-adapted from Allrecipes
1/2 C frozen blueberries
1/2 C sugar
1/2 C water
1 tsp cornstarch
~Mix everything in an 8" skillet, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes while stirring often.
~That's it!

Oh man.. it's funny that you should post this recipe! I've been craving blueberries all day!!! Earlier, Sally and I stopped in a grocery store.. one of those ones that don't sell named brand food. Anyway, I saw a can of blueberries. I picked it up telling sally that I've never heard of blueberries in a can. I didn't buy them but later on I was kicking myself. I've been thinking about them all day. lol.
