Deviled Eggs with Red Bell Pepper Hearts are a great treat. Free hand the hearts, no special cutters needed.
I hear Florida strawberries are starting to come into season, these No Bake Cheesecake Strawberries are always a fun idea.
Cherry On Top Bar Cookies look pretty served with a dusting of powdered sugar and bake up quickly.
These Crochet Hearts whip up in no time, I made a bag for Barbie but they would make really cute ornaments or garland too.
And most importantly, no matter how you choose to celebrate Valentine's Day, I'd like to suggest one thing...
be sure to treat yourself to some pretty flowers!
Thanks for the delicious round up Lynn! I'll help myself to some eggs, strawberries and fudge... how's that for a balanced breakfast? :)
ReplyDeleteI remember copying your deviled eggs with the red pepper hearts a few year's ago!! Alas, any fudge I make has to be eaten with a spoon.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie

ReplyDeleteAnd YUM!
Great ideas, Lynn! The little fudge balls with the hearts are adorable! I'll be making the Pioneer Woman's chocolate cut out heart cookies and a cherry pie. :)
ReplyDeleteooh, the cherry-on-top thingy looked SO good!
ReplyDeleteGreat round-up Lynn. I take a couple of cheesecake strawberries and a few deviled eggs with those cute red hearts and call it lunch. Life's short. East dessert first :)

ReplyDeleteThe strawberries look awesome, Lynn, save some for me! I don't know how you crocheted a heart for Barbie, I can't even crochet a circle, so sad, but that is too cute! Your fudge looks like it's from a shop! And I swear I can smell that cherry on top thing baking :)
