Hi everyone-tomorrow's Fat Tuesday! Happy Mardi Gras! Love playing with these fun colors!
Let the good times roll:@)
It's hard to see the pretty bowl in the pic above. I found the plate and bowl at Salvation Army for $1.38.
Free beads from a King Cake a customer sends to the office, primrose $1.29, napkin rings and glass 50¢.
Earl says "party hardy, what happens in "N'awlins, stays in N'awlins!
Um, wait a minute... what do you mean this pic is on the net???"
Have a happy day!

Love your tablescape. My husband is planning to make a King's Cake but doesn't want to use colored sugar. I'm sure it will be deliciously dull!!

Lovely tablescape. Love, love the clear plate and bowl...good deal! Thanks for stopping by my blog today...as you can imagine, those ruby "grandpa" glasses mean a lot to me.
ReplyDeleteGoodness girl, you have been partying! I missed the feather tree and the Easter egg holder but now I have caught up. I love those colors too. That pig is one wild thing! Party central around here.
ReplyDeleteYou are a party girl for sure!
ReplyDeleteGreat buy on the bowl!
Love your colorful tablesetting..love your colorful personality even better. :)))
ReplyDeletehugs, bj
How fun. Love those bright colors. Wonder what Earl did to get his beads? I mean he doesn't have a big chest or anything.
ReplyDeleteMardi Gras is in full swing here and I have not been to the first parade! Thanks for coming to my party with your thrifty goodies.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Linda
My husband smuggled a piece of King Cake home from his office for me tonight! I usually make one but didn't have time this year.
ReplyDeleteEarl is having lots of fun!
How fun! I just attended a Mardi Gras party last Sat and then went to see the parade. We collected so many beads but I sent them all with my daughter (who was visiting me) for my granddaughter......Christine
ReplyDeleteI didn't do a Mardi Gras table this year, but I also love those colors. I've never had a King Cake...does it taste good or just look good?
ReplyDeleteI know Earl is throwing the beads!
ReplyDeleteHi Sue! Not sure the one we get is either... Kinda shaped like a football stadium coated in electric colored sugar and the recipe is made for longevity as opposed to yum-i-tivity:@)
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun holiday to set a table for! Yours is so festive...love the little pig too!!
ReplyDeleteMiss Bloomers
So cute! I love that Earl! He really is such a Ham! LOL! I love the mardi gras colors too! :))

Lynn, what a great Mardi Gras setting. Your bowl looks like a crown and who could argue with your great prices on your finds. Enjoy your King cake even if it might be missing its sugar. Thanks so much for sharing today.
ReplyDeleteEarl is such a party animal. I thought you were going to say you "earned" the beads.... :o)
ReplyDeleteI've been fighting the urge to bake another King Cake. They are so yummy.
