Saturday ReView: Summer Baked Beans and Fairy Garden Barbie Pics

Some crazy big mushrooms grew in my yard, this one is easily 9" across. I thought they might make for really fun Fairy Garden Barbie pics! So I scrunched up some tulle for wings and went out at dusk one night to do a photo shoot. Normally I try to limit my pictures for my blog posts, but this time I just thought I'd let you scroll through Barbie's little fantasy garden for as long as you'd like -enjoy!

I'm fond of this pic...

For a better idea of scale, this is a regular size Barbie doll.

I just couldn't let a good mushroom go to waste folks... One last batch of pictures with Barbie as a Garden Fairy. Different doll and dress, mid-day this time.  Barbie found a little friend under the mushroom... I'm guessing he's the one watering it to make it grow so big:)

Then she wanted to take a pic with a gazing ball. Really fun idea, but some pudgy chick kept showing in the reflection... So we added a sparkle in Pizap to help clean that up😉

And that my friends will be the last of the mushroom pictures, I did have to mow the lawn😎
🍄My sincerest thank you to Mother Nature for this fun little adventure!

These Summer Baked Beans are truly not your usual baked beans folks... They call for the addition of Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage and green beans, and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised! The sweetness is easily adjusted, all beans are canned, and they can be cooked any variety of ways. I've made them several times and they are always a big hit:@)

Stay cool and have a great weekend:@)

  2. The baked beans recipe looks so good. I am the only one in my family that likes baked beans so I don't make them anymore. :( Hope you are enjoying the weekend Lynn.
