Recipe can be cut in half, just use the yolk of the egg.

Orange Cinnamon Spritz Cookies-adapted from Simply Southern Baking
1 C butter
3/4 C sugar
1 Tblsp fresh orange zest
1 tsp orange extract
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
2 1/4 C A/P flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
- Beat butter, sugar and orange zest until creamed.
- Beat in extracts and egg.
- Add everything else, mix well.
- Place dough in cookie press using disc(s) of choice.
- Press cookies onto cool, ungreased cookie sheets.
- Decorate with colored sugar or sprinkles if desired.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 7-9 minutes or until lightly golden brown on edges.
- Remove cookies to cooling rack.
