Halloween Mummy Spritz Cookies -Caramel Spritz Cookie -Original Mirro Recipe

Here's another neat idea for using your cookie press for more than just Christmas cookies... I thought I'd have a little fun with a gingerbread man disc and make some Halloween Mummy Spritz Cookies. The caramel cookie recipe is an original Mirro recipe that came with the presses years ago, and would be great any time of year. I used a little melted white chocolate to make the mummy's wrapping and a couple small sprinkles for eyes. This is a cute little cookie that came together pretty quickly. Happy Halloween Week everyone:@)

Steps:
  1. Mix dough and press cookies onto clean, cool, un-greased, light colored cookie sheets.
  2. Add two little sprinkles for eyes and bake until golden around edges.
  3. Once cookies are cool, place white chocolate chips in disposable icing bag and melt them in the microwave.
  4. Cut small hole in bag and drizzle melted chocolate over cookies to look like a mummy.
  5. Allow white chocolate to firm up.
  6. Store in air tight container.
  7. Design inspiration from Creative Cookie Press.
🎃Enjoy a cookie and have a spooky day:@)

  1. I have that same original Mirro cookbook that came with my now deceased cookie press, but I've never made the recipe, Lynn! Can you believe it?? Your little mummies turned out so cute!
