2018 -A Bloggy Look Back

As 2018 begins to wind down, I thought I'd take a look back through my posts from the year and highlight some favs. One of my favorite decorative purchases was this Metal Truck from Walmart. I'm hoping to continue to fill it's bed with seasonal items and have a 'year of the red truck' round up next December:@)

Looking back at the five most viewed posts is fun for me because it always shows a wide variety of interests.
This year was no exception!

Wow! Crock pot, pressure cooker, low carb, Weight Watchers, Barbie and a little gardening,
now that's a nice mix of cooking methods and fun ideas.

My favorite thrift store find, a Little Dipper Crock Pot
Had to add a little Eagles embellishment:@)

And finally, even though I couldn't come up with enough content to maintain a dedicated DIY Barbie Blog (bummer)...
We still had some Barbie fun and I will continue my occasional Barbie posts on this blog just for giggles:@)
**1/20/19 Update: I'm starting the Barbie Blog back up HERE!

I'd like to thank every single person that takes time out of their day to stop by Pig In Mud!
I truly appreciate you and wish you all the best in 2019!
Have a happy day:@)

  4. Soon after Christmas, Japanese people start preparing for the year-end and New Year’s events.
Compared to Christmas, many of these events are based on Japanese tradition and are deeply related to religion.
The end-of-year party is called “bonenkai” in Japanese. “Bonen” means to forget (the worries of) the past year.
People are busy with events on New Year’s Eve.

  5. As soon as I saw that red truck I went to my local Wal-Mart to find it. Well, no luck, but they did have one in blue, and since my house is decorated in blue, white and grey it was a great fine. I also plan on filling the bed of the truck with seasonal things. Thanks for your wonderful blog, have made quite a few of the recipes you have posted.
