Here's a great
Mindless Ridged Dish Cloth Pattern for those of us that tend to get a little... distracted... **
Oh look, a Christmas cookie:@) Plan A was to follow a pattern called
The Magic Cloth HERE but as these things tend to go, I veered off on my own. I love that after you chain 30 there are only two stitches to remember and one of them is a double crochet on each end.
You could add any kind of pretty border you'd like for a nice finishing touch too.
The author of
The Wonder Cloth Pattern used a 'double stitch', I used a variation of that but only going into the top loop. DS=insert hook into top loop of next chain, yarn over and draw loop through (two on hook), insert hook into top loop of next chain, yarn over and draw loop through (three on hook), yarn over and pull through all three loops. Start your next stitch in the same hole as the last one.
One last pic trying to show you that there are raised ridges in this dish cloth...
Mindless Ridged Dish Cloth Pattern
I used cotton yarn and an H hook, mine turned out about 8" square.
Chain 30
*DS to end, DC in last hole to keep the cloth square.
CH 2, turn and repeat from * until desired length.
Here are a few more patterns:
They all work up fairly quickly and would be a welcome gift I'm sure!
Have a happy day:@)
