I found a really fun site called Retro Planet HERE. They sell reproduction nostalgic and kitschy items and while I'm not saying you're going to find things at yard sale prices... It's a really fun site to nose around! Love the vintage look linens and diner items. They are true to their word and ship same day (if ordered before 3PM), so pour yourself a cuppa and have a fun walk down memory lane:@)
Planter Update: Look at my baby! Everything is growing well (except the poor jalapeno, I did play with it and nudge it more towards the front of the planter). I love that the bean and cuke vines are really getting long and growing on the trellis now. There are tons of tomatoes and cucumber blossoms. My fingers are crossed and um... fork stands at the ready for some fresh veggies:@)
They promise another spectacular weekend here in Philly, hope it's beautiful where you are too!
I have some goodies marinating in the fridge and should have a couple fun grilling ideas to share soon:@)
Have a happy day!

ReplyDeleteWow Lynn, those are the most perfect looking strawberries I've ever seen!! Yummm!! Your garden planter looks mahvelous, but I'm sorry about your jalapeno. My husband planted tomatoes and they're coming right along. I love the Retro Planet website, by the way; I need to show that to my parents. :)
