Bourbon Marinade for Pork Tenderloin

I wanted to try a new marinade and only had about 1/4 C of bourbon left to play with, so I was happy to find this recipe. This Bourbon Marinade was great with grilled pork tenderloin, I let it marinate a good 6 hours in the fridge. There are a lot of bold flavors here but I found that they all blended together nicely with nothing being overly dominant. The boys gave it a big thumbs up!
I've been using the four minute method for pork tenderloin: Place it on a hot covered grill for 4 minutes, flip it upside down for 4 minutes, then do 4 minutes on each side. Remove from grill, cover with foil and let rest for 10 minutes. This has worked well for everything except, shall we say... extra plump... tenderloins. They need a little more time.

Bourbon Marinade-from Simple Nourished Living
1/4 C bourbon
1/4 C soy sauce
2 Tblsp Worcestershire sauce
2 Tblsp brown sugar
1 Tblsp olive oil
1 Tblsp dijon mustard
2 cloves garlic, crushed-I used a garlic press
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp pepper
~Mix everything and let your meat marinade for at least 4 hours, longer is better.

Eat well and have a happy day:@)
