Yes we have lots of shoveling going on not so much the Pina Coladas. But, they do sound good for later today.

I'm from NYC, so I also know lots of snow, now that I live here in Ecuador and have a spring like weather is just fine and perfect, cause I hate hot and humid summers too! I do wish I was at the beach which is is 4 hours away and have piña coladas too, lol! Hope it stops snowing son at your neck of the Woods hon!

I'm afraid to tell you what it's like here, breezy and 68, tomorrow high of 72 and sunny. Before you get upset, think of what's it's like here in August and September when it's hot & humid as you-know-what and a hurricane is brewing out in the Gulf of Mexico. What goes around comes around. As they say, this too will pass. Hang in there Lynn or come down and see me and we'll have a pina colada or three and put Jimmy Buffet on the speakers on the lanai :)

ReplyDeleteNow that's SNOW! Down here in Austin, Texas, we get excited if the temperatures drop to freezing and we get a little rain for fear of a "winter mix". Being from Montana originally, I find it a little humorous. I sure do miss that white stuff around the Holidays. Its cold, and a pain to shovel all the time, but i don't think anything is as BEAUTIFUL as waking up in the morning to the glisten of fresh fallen snow; the peace, quiet, and sense of calm feels like what I imagine Heaven to be.

It's hot and cold, hot and cold and many are sick, bummer. I'll take a bit more cool weather, even cold. Our summers are hot and long! Cute post!

ReplyDeleteOur house looks pretty much like your picture. Our road is clear but our 600ft driveway with a big dip in it so we haven't gone anywhere!
ReplyDeleteA lot of snow! :-) I believe if I could get to the airport I would head to Jamaica, lots of wonderful drinks there!! We had 10 inches a few weeks ago with freezing rain and sleet, it made for a mess, got cabin fever!
