50 Minute Textured Dish Cloth-Crochet

Yep, the name drew me in, I love quick projects! The simple pattern for this 50 Minute Textured Dish Cloth is great and the whole thing is single crochet. Ma called to say that Walmart reduced some Peaches & Cream yarn to $1, I thought these sherbet colors were yummy and fun for summer!

This pattern is worked from the corner (started lower right) and as you can see, I had some difficulty with the decreasing and keeping it square.
Any tips on keeping track of where the rows should start/end?
I ripped it out a couple times and really tried to pay attention... that helped a little:@)
I'm sure you're wondering... did it take me 50 minutes? No, at least double that but only because I'm so new to crochet. Do I believe it can be done in 50 minutes? Absolutely! Pattern HERE.

Updated: I just had to try this again. This time I used a 'J' hook (used 'I' for the first one) and watched a video to learn to properly decrease... While still not perfect, this one's much better, and it took 1 1/2 hours. I really do like this pattern!
 Have a happy day:@)
