Are You Ready for Halloween?

Saw this fun pic and thought I'd join Saturday Centus today with a little Halloween poem. We can use 100 words around this picture. Any writing style, no additional prompt.

Are You Ready?
The time is drawing close and near,
For the scariest night of the year.
Gather your candy and your gear,
Don't hold back because of fear.
Witches and vampires will appear,
for Halloween night will soon be here.

and just for fun...
Now off to the store-disappear,
I need some Visine-be a dear.

Have a happy day:@)

  7. I haven't been brave enough to trick and rest with my seven year old yet, it just isn't the same mass undertaking that it is in the states and so the fear is greater. Liked your take on it thought.
