A Tabletop from 1936!

Hi everyone! I'm happy to be joining Marty for Tabletop Tuesday! My contribution today is the cover of Better Homes and Gardens from August 1936!

Where did I get the magazine? I was lucky enough to win the very generous first anniversary give-away from Sue at I Need Mom!  What a fun package, like Christmas in September!
Some of the goodies:
Toile dishes and mugs, pomegranate tea, a vintage ornament and blubs!
A sign that says "Blessings, remember to count them every day" (and blogging friendships have been one!).
A Waverly apron and dish towels to match-lovin' this fabric!
And a group of vintage magazines as well as the current Christmas 365!
Sue, thank you so much for this great goodie box, you made my day! If you haven't been by Sue's blog recently please stop by, she has a little bit of everything from great tablescapes and flowers to recipes!

Now, if you'll excuse me I'm going to put on the apron and whip up a recipe from 1934 for Foodie Friday, then pour myself a cup of tea and do some more reading!
I'll leave you with an advertisement for Olive Oil, in bud vase bottle with cookbook - for 10¢
Have a happy day:@)
