Microwave Pepperoni Chips -Crispy with Less Fat

Microwave Pepperoni Chips? Yep:@) This is a nice way to enjoy pepperoni while saving a few calories. Place pepperoni between two paper towels or napkins and it only takes a couple minutes to create a nice crispy treat! As the meat crisps up, the excess fat melts out. You'll need to test the time for your microwave though. Mine seems to be extra strong... The nice thing about pre-sliced pepperoni, the width is pretty consistent. Talk about a nice addition to a charcuterie tray or munchie platter for football parties! I think you'll like this once you learn the timing for your microwave folks.

Microwave Pepperoni Chips
  1. On paper plate or microwavable plate, place paper towel, lay pepperoni in single layer, cover with another paper towel.
  2. Microwave, start at 1 minute, look at them. The microwave may be full of steam when you open the door, air it out. If not crisp cook for about 20-30 second increments until it does crisp up. Once you know how long your microwave takes you'll be able to just set it for that amount of time.
