These Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Sticks are a nice treat for when you'd like something a tad less sweet than chocolate covered pretzels, yet not as zingy as pretzels with mustard. They're also a little different, something that doesn't show up at every party:@) It's another idea that might just become your signature dish for get togethers... Four ingredients, less than 30 minutes and you have a great snack! I really like these folks, I've even been adding them to my Chex Mixes for one more flavor variation. And the recipe is easily scaled back to half or a quarter for smaller crowds or to use up some leftover pretzels.
Two more party pretzel flavors:
Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Sticks-adapted from Yellow Bliss Road
1 lb bag pretzel sticks
1/4 C butter
up to 1/2 C sugar-I used 1/4 C
up to 2 tsp cinnamon-I used 1 1/2 tsp, I suggest bumping up the flavor and will use 2 next time
- Melt butter, mix in sugar and cinnamon.
- Lay pretzels on baking sheet, pour cinnamon mixture over them, use hands to coat pretzels very well.
- Bake at 250 degrees for 15 minutes, stir, bake for 15 minutes more.
- Cool completely and store in airtight container.
Enjoy a snack and have a happy day:@)

ReplyDeleteIt seems that I always have extra pretzels that I don’t know what to do with. This would solve my problem. Thanks, Lynn!
