I first discovered Uncommon Goods as the mother of a couple 20-something sons that aren't always easy to buy for. They offer unique one of a kind gifts, many designed by local artists and handcrafted with around 30% using recycled or upcycled material. I've always loved that they help skinny up our search for gift ideas by grouping them by gender, you can click here for men or here for women. They even offer a specific category of personalized gifts. This Pennsylvania Apron is a fun example of something you just won't find at mass produced big box stores.
Not only are the graphics cute, it shows some of the history of this great state! (Anyone else hungry for a Hershey bar now? :@)
At the time of this writing they still offer aprons for 28 other states and there are some dish towels too. If you think this might be a fun gift idea (Christmas is coming folks...) get 'em while you can!
If you're looking for something different
Uncommon Goods is a great place to start, I think the name says it all. You'll find everything from silly walking robot S&P's to foodie gifts like wine infused cedar planks for grilling to high end personalized art. Why not pour a cuppa and enjoy a few minutes browsing for yourself.
Have a happy day:@)
Full disclosure: I was provided product in exchange for an honest review.
Cute dish towel Lynn. My SIL gets their catalog and I always enjoying taking a peek :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for reminding me of Uncommon Goods. Since we've moved, catalogs aren't forwarded. This means I need to order from them to get back on the list right??
