Lilacs

Smells like a wonderful spring day here North of Philly...

  6. I'm so jealous of your lilacs. I live North of Philly too.. ( Bucks County) and my lilacs didn't bloom this year. Enjoy them, they are beautiful..

  11. Oh my word, Lynn, I just had to stop to admire your beautiful Lilacs. I'm in Central PA and my lilacs barely have leaves yet. You lucky "gal." Thank you so much for sharing, Lynn...It was so nice to see flowers after a backing breaking day of mulching...

  16. The lilacs are wonderful - ours are blooming too. It is cloudy, cool and very rainy this weekend - but a wonderful weekend for sure! Spring is so greet and flowery!

  20. Do you cut them and bring them inside? How long do they last?

    1. Howdy! If you catch them early they'll be pretty for about 3 days then begin to droop. They have wood stems that need to be split and drink tons of water. Any flowers you cut this year, that branch won't bloom next year... Learned that one the hard way:@)
