I learned to crochet (kinda-sorta:@) this year!
While I do still have some issues following patterns it has been fun and I plan to continue with this hobby.
I mentioned my Foodie Focus for 2013 would be rolls and we absolutely love these Fast Classic Dinner Rolls! You have to use quick rise yeast but I think once you have fluffy, yummy rolls on the table in less than 90 minutes you'll find it well worth that purchase!
This Baked Bean Casserole was a popular post and it was one of my personal favorites too!
Hamburger, beans and bacon, what's not to love? You can serve it as a side dish or as Sloppy Joes.
I rediscovered Barbie dolls and had a blast Making Easy Doll Clothes for them! The Barbie posts seem to find their way to Pinterest so I'm guessing folks like them and will continue to play with dolls:@) My Barbie Pinterest Board here.
I'm hopeful that maybe, just maybe, this Eagles Logo Pie will help take them deep into the playoffs!
It can't hurt, that's for sure.
We had a little fun with Grumpy Cat...
My most viewed post in 2013 was some great football food: Chicken Bombs.
A jalapeno stuffed with two types of cheese, surrounded by chicken, wrapped in bacon, covered with BBQ sauce and cooked on the grill...
OMG... now I'm hungry:@)
OMG... now I'm hungry:@)
And I'll close with Earl,
who has apparently been getting ready for midnight on New Year's Eve...
I enjoy your company and sincerely thank you for stopping by Pig In Mud and humoring me in all this silliness:@)
I wish everyone an amazing 2014!
Glad that you had a great year! Raven's are out ~ Good luck to those Eagles! Have a great 2014!!
ReplyDeleteLoved the bean recipe and have to try the rolls. Hope you have a very Blessed and Happy New Year. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteHi Lynnie! Oh, I've loved this! I had made the beans and hamburger meat casserole but this recipe sounds better than mine. I'm going to try it! Yummy! I love it that you started to crochet and you've done a wonderful job! Barbies! How I love making Barbie clothes. I used to make them for my daughter. This summer I bundled up all of her old Barbies and took them to her thinking my little granddaughter would love them. Well, she didn't pay them any mind. But here recently she has discovered them and is playing with them like everything so I see making Barbie dolls clothes in my future! Here's to another year of blogging with you.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Lynn, I MUST try your chicken bombs. miracle of miracles, the Panthers made the playoffs! Love the wrap up and always seeing what Earl is up to :) Happy Cooking in 2014 and Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteLynn, I just checked out the baked beans and they are my kind of cooking!! Yum, I can taste them now!! I have loved seeing your Barbie creations. I had Tammy when I was a kid and she was too, well, let's just say it, too plump for Barbie's clothes! I always LOVE seeing Earl although the Eagles don't excite me :) (New York fan here, as you know, although the Knicks are driving us crazy :).) Thank you for entertaining us all year, and I hope you and your loved ones have a happy, healthy new year! Linda
