Meatball Appetizers with Creamy Dill Sauce

Between holiday parties and the playoffs coming up I figure we can use all the fun appetizer ideas we can find! How about another one that showcases dill, these Meatballs with Creamy Dill Sauce didn't last long here:@) I used frozen meatballs but if you click the link there's a recipe for Swedish Meatballs from scratch too.
And if you'd like to make them more substantial than party food I'm sure they'd make a great dinner served over noodles.

Creamy Dill Sauce-from Taste of Home Community
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
2 cups beef broth
1 cup sour cream
3 tablespoons fresh chopped dill or 2-3 tsp dry dill weed
1/4 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  1. Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour until frothy. Let bubble 2 minutes. Gradually stir in beef broth until smooth. Simmer 10 to 12 minutes until slightly thickened, stirring often.
  2. Stir in sour cream, dill (if using dry, start with 1-2 tsp and add more to taste) and lemon peel. Serve immediately.
Speaking of football, we have a big game Sunday night!
Some how Earl got a hold of the chalk...
 Have a happy day:@)
