Summer 2014

I have to tell ya folks, barring a Sharknado attack some time this week, this has to go down in history as one of the mildest summers Philly has ever had! Maybe Mother Nature is trying to make nice for last winter??? Don't know but I'm grateful and loving it!
Gonna enjoy the last of it before I have to deal with another predicted Polar Vortex...
Stay cool and anyone have the sudden urge for seafood???

Have a happy day:@)

i have to admit, our texas summer has been pretty darn mild compared to some hellish ones i've known in recent years. :)

  2. Well, after the winter of 2014, I think most of the nation deserved a mild summer. Ours hasn't been all that bad, either. We're still around 100 every day, but it doesn't "seem" to have been as humid. (Either that, or I have stayed inside more.)

And I love your eggs in the previous post. They made me smile and wish I had had some for my 1974 themed table. So cute!

  4. Lynn, we are into the triple digits in recent weeks, but all in all summer 2014 hasn't been all that bad. I left yoga class at 7:30 this evening, and the temp outside was 101. I'm ready to move on into the cooler days of fall. '-)

  5. For us too Lynn, except for the past two weeks, when it's been very warm. I sure didn't mind!

  6. You certainly did deserve a mild summer after your winter, Lynn. I hope next winter is not quite so bad. We are still in the 100 degrees down here, but hopefully it'll start cooling off a bit. It does seem to drag on for awhile, but it's not as bad as last summer.

  7. Our spring and summer started out very rainy and cool and we're still getting more rain than I care to admit. Won't complain though - it's better than winter (or a Sharknado - LOL).

  10. My kind of summer! Today as I mowed the grass I was a little uncomfortable but that has been unusual this summer :)
