Twice Baked Savory Sweet Potatoes-adapted from Coleen's Recipes-Sweet Potato Fries
For every 2 medium sweet potatoes:
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp smoked paprika or chipotle powder-I used chipotle powder
1 tsp chili powder
1 Tblsp brown sugar
Optional: a little butter or splash of cream
- Mash everything in bowl and transfer to a baking dish.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 20-30 minutes or until heated through.
- Brown the top under the broiler for a couple minutes if desired.

ReplyDeleteSavory sweet potatoes ~ yes! I often eat sweet potatoes, so will try this recipe. I've never liked sweet potatoes in recipes that sweeten them up. Give me savory. '-)
