Another option would be baking them as a ball and pushing an unwrapped Hershey Kiss into the center of each one.
Use whatever flavor of Kiss you'd like, chocolate, pumpkin spice, caramel...
My inspiration blog used Pumpkin Spice Jiff Peanut Butter and vanilla pudding,
I just flipped it and used regular PB and Pumpkin pudding.

Pumpkin Spice Pudding and Peanut Butter Cookies-adapted from The Gunny Sack
1 (four serving size) box of instant Jello Pumpkin Spice Pudding
1/2 C creamy peanut butter
1 large egg
Sugar for rolling if desired
Hershey Kisses if desired
- Mix everything well.
- Roll dough into 1" balls, roll in sugar if using. Place on silicone or parchment lined baking sheet.
- Press with fork to flatten a bit, or if using Hershey Kisses bake as balls and press an unwrapped Kiss into the center of cookie once out of the oven.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
What an adorable presentation with the pretty string. I think anyone who received these as a gift would be thrilled.

Interesting! I am posting a recipe soon that is similar for Secret Recipe Club, I was amazed at how good a 3 ingredient cookie can be! I love how you added the black sprinkles and string for Halloween~

Now isn't that an easy cookie recipe?! I've heard of the flourless peanut butter cookie, but not one with the pudding mix. I have never seen the pumpkin spice pudding mix. You could change this recipe up for any season!
ReplyDeleteNo way! These look amazing. I've got to try it. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI am really going to have to start crossing the border to shop. Pumpkin Spice Pudding and peanut butter? Well I never!!!
ReplyDeleteI have made cookies with pudding before and they were great! Another cute fall idea, Lynn!
ReplyDeleteDitto on what Kitty says Lynn! Love how easy these cookies are and they're so festive with the colored sugar tied up like a package :)
