Happy Christmas in July to you too Lynn. When my I growing up my father was an Optometrist, but also inherited the family jewelry store. When I was old enough to go to market (a teenager), we went to Dallas to the Merchandise Mart, always in July, to shop for Christmas merchandise for the store. Each year their theme was "Christmas in July." You've brought back a lot of nice memories this morning. Sam
Right back at you!! I've been working on my Christmas theme for this year. I do that every year about this time but haven't changed a thing in 25 years or so. I just like to think about the possibilities.
Christmas in July here is a big thing, it's the only way you get a white christmas in Australia. Christmas to me is hot and we now eat salad and seafood outside under the trees not traditional at all. Merle...............
Good morning Lynn, Funny you said Christmas in July because for the next two days I will be selling at our Church Bazaar and it is Christmas in July. Love the Christmas piggy. smile.
My boys are grown and on their own and while the day job puts food on the table, it doesn't feed the soul. So this Philly Girl started Pig In Mud. Please join me as I welcome each season and holiday through brief posts focusing on home cooking, baking, crafts and Barbie fun. I hope you find this a happy place that provides inspiration:@) Lynn
