Saturday Centus-I'm Not A Chicken!

I'm happy to be joining Mizz Jenny for Saturday Centus and the challenge is to write a poem using the prompt I'm not a chicken. I like this!
I'm going to borrow a trick from country music and say,
if you can't rhyme it, come close and add some twang-that usually works:@)
Barnyard Divas written by The Pig
The days are long and the work is hard,
doing all that sittin'.
Sleep at night, up with the crack of dawn,
There just ain't no quittin'.

Fancy houses and feathered nests,
My human's are quite smittin'.
Strutting around with chests puffed out,
I'm really starting to sicken.

The barnyard's big and there's room for all,
But those wings need a clippin'.
I could be a princess and lay eggs all day,
but I'm not a chicken!

Oh and, pigs rule:@)
