I found a new linky party that I like the idea of today, Meet Me On Monday. I'm not ready to jump in today but did love one of the questions: Where were you born?
I was born in Albert Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia, PA!
Only wish the namesake rubbed off a bit more... I mean, besides the hair do.
Do you ever listen to music, I mean really listen to the music and not just the words to a song?
My absolute favorite song right now is Keith Urban's If I Knew What I Was Doing.
The build up to the last chorus is truly amazing!
They placed a fake wolf in the yard at the office to try to deter the geese.
It worked as long as someone went out and moved it every day.
It was stolen over the weekend...
I'm thinking it was the guy that had to move it every day:@)
Have a happy day!
Oh, that is too funny about the wolf! I had to giggle at that! I think that I would of stolen the thing too! I do hope that you are feeling better really soon! Sending well wishes your way!
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain sista!!
ReplyDeleteWhere is all the pollen coming from if the weather is so cold? I have heard a lot about it in the South, but what about here in the Midwest? I feel for you...my whole family has the flu and I have my fingers crossed it doesn't hit me next. Get better!!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Janie
Oh, I hate the springtime pollen. I get just miserable and have to use sudafed 12 hour, flonase and zaditor eye drops all at the same time!
ReplyDeleteWe have had fun putting up pink flamingos around the neighbors yards, but a wolf!
Funny about the wolf! For having nothing to post I think you found a good bit to say :-)
ReplyDeleteReally funny about the wolf!!!!
ReplyDeleteHAve a great week, hugs, Flavia
Sharon, Pa.. but don't know the name of the hospital. Sharon General I think.
ReplyDeleteMarion General Hospital, Ohio.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are starting to see the clearing in the haze. Should I send a care package of chicken soup and tea?
We have an abundance of geese in the area where I work, too. The city contracts a company to have dogs chase them off. The geese simply move to another location nearby.
In the spring, you can hear them mating up on the roof. It's quite comical because they chase on another around before....you know. The heating and air workers don't make as much noise as these darn geese.
Hmm...you gave me an idea for a post.
I met you on Gail's farm website. Or rather I saw your blog and fell in love with the title. Very original. To me, anyway.
ReplyDeleteLove that you love humor as I do too.

Hope to see you again.

Hi Lynn! Oh, poor one, feel better. I have those old nasty allergy attacks too and this time of the year is just awful! I'm giggling at your wolfie thing! Yep, I'll bet the moving guy did it. Feel better and hope you'll feel like coming to my cupboard party next Tuesday.
ReplyDeletebe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
So sorry to hear you are not feeling well. I sure do wish this pollen would be gone already! I am glad to see you have maintained a sense of humor. Too funny about the fake wolf, I think you may be right. haha!

I am also in an allergy driven haze! I can't think and my brain feels like it will explode. So the 'wolf' story cracks me up and boy did I need that! Feel better soon! hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteLoved you post! Geese are pretty smart...just like the birds who sit on the plastic owls!
ReplyDeleteLOL, we have those geese deterrents, too! Hope you feel better! Maybe you are allergic to geese?
ReplyDeleteI love that Keith Urban song. Sorry about the allergies...my husband is complaining quite a bit too.
ReplyDeleteLaughing about the stolen wolf! You're probably right that it was the poor guy who had to move it daily.
ReplyDeleteHope your allergies clear up. We're chin deep in suffering season here, too.
Love your random thoughts!! I hope you get some relief from your allergies! Spring is wonderful except for stirring up the allergies!!
