Visions of Sugarplums!

Hi everyone! Today I'm joining Cupcake Sunday and Seasonal Sunday with my Christmas goodie display.
We purchased a cake for our office luncheon and it had this Christmas tree design on it, so I thought I'd try icing my cupcakes with it. Cute and easy!
Hope you all had a great Christmas, we're bracing for a blizzard here in Philly with up to a foot of snow.
Glad I ate well yesterday, looks like I'll need my strength for shoveling!
Have a happy day:@)

  2. Your cookies came out great. We used to live in Bristol, Pa and remember the winters well. Hope you all stay safe and warm.

  3. Yikes. Blizzards are exciting, but not if you have to shovel. It's really blustery here today, but just a few flurries in the air. I can't tell if it is fresh snow or just blowing off the house. Stay warm and stay safe.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! La

  11. Looks delish! I know you're scheduled to get hit with a lot of the snow. Here in southcentral PA we are only supposed to get a couple of inches, and we're only 90 minutes away. Who would have thought?

  12. Great tip on the icing decor and the eggs in the previous post. Stay warm and I hop you have lots of hot cocoa. We hear that it is snowing in Atlanta. It's cold here to us but not what you have. Stay warm. Hugs, Ginger

  18. We had that very same blizzard LAST Christmas Eve and Day.....glad we missed it this time! Sorry you guys are getting hammered. My friend's daughter made a surprise visit home to KC from Connecticut to spend Christmas with here parents. She was to fly back this morning, but couldn't because of the flight cancellations....the same is true for tomorrow. My friend is thrilled, cuz she gets her daughter for a couple of extra days!

I love your cupcake frosting idea!! And I love those vintage holly plates the eggs are on. I have used that cold water peeling technique for years (don't recall how I came by it) and also agree with you that it works very well!

Hope you had a great Christmas....and please be careful shoveling....I did lots of that last year!

  22. Hi Lynn, the Christmas cookies look delicious. I like the icing trees. Very cute.

We go home to the snow tomorrow. I hope our car makes it up the driveway or we will be walking up our long drive. I hope you don't have to shovel too much snow. Be safe and stay warm.

    Hugs, jeanne
