There was a community yard sale in the section next to mine and they must have had a record number of participants! I called Ma and we stopped by, we also hit a thrift store.
First I found this crochet doily made by the woman's MIL. 42" x 14" - $1.
I also bought the short candle stick for 50 cents.
I also bought the short candle stick for 50 cents.
I had picked up the taller one at a thrift store months ago for $1.
In my own crazy way, I now consider this a set:@) Mismatched, but still a set!
I love the dishes with the bubbles, and found this 8 oz glass at the thrift store for 50 cents.
Rabbit napkin rings-$1. They have some weight to them and feel like porcelain.
But the thing I am most excited about is this Santa planter/decoration. It's 5" tall by about 4" deep and the opening in his sack is about 1 1/2". It says "Japan" on the bottom and has some gold accents.
The woman went into a long story about how her MIL gave her this and it was the first Christmas decoration she ever owned, in the family for years... I held my breath and asked "how much?"... $1!
Woo-Hoo!!!
Woo-Hoo!!!
Oh, and I picked up something pink, but think I'll save that for Pink Saturday:@)
Yes, it was a happy day in Philly!

Your Santa looks like he is from the same time frame as the one I brought home from the in-laws garage last weekend. I was excited about mine too. Mine is just a figure, no bag to put things in.
