The owl is from Poland and has a clip on the bottom.
I wanted to use natural elements in my vignette so I walked down to the creek with my clippers and a bag.

I gave a packet of pumpkin seeds to one of the guys at work,
and he brought me this pumpkin from his garden-thanks Tom!

Hi Lynn...
ReplyDeleteOooh...how pretty! Girlfriend, that owl ornament is gorgeous! He certainly makes for the perfect little creature in your autumn cloche! I love that you used the "natural" elements...they are sooo pretty! What a beautiful autumn table vignette! I haven't gotten a pumpkin yet. I keep thinkin' I'm goin' to go raid a pumpkin farm...wink! Hehe! Thank you for sharing your pretties with us...I love your cloche!!!
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at my autumn cloches. I always enjoy your visits and sweet notes, my friend!
Warmest autumn wishes,
Chari @Happy To Design
Oh I do so love your owl. What a great idea to collect ornaments that clip on the tree. So pretty with your foliage and the pretty pumpkin. Your cloche is beautiful. Thanks so much for linking to TTT. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI love it! I am a Christmas ornament addict too and have said the same thing to our kids.
ReplyDeleteWhen we go on trips we always buy an ornament for our kids and for us..Always a Santa one.:))
ReplyDeleteYour owl is really cute.
Love the owl...clever you!!! This makes a great photo!!!
ReplyDeleteOK, now THAT is an adorable, simply adorable cloche!
ReplyDeleteLynn, me too! Christmas is my favorite time of year and I have so many ornaments on my tree, that one year the whole tree fell over. But the tree looks so beautiful that way. I mean covered in ornaments... not on the floor. :-) And I have a ton of birds just like you. I hope you will share some more ornament pics when the holidays roll around.
ReplyDeleteI love your owl! I'm seeing them everywhere this year all of the sudden, and I really like it. Great old bird... he deserves to be center stage in the design world for a while.
ReplyDeleteLove your cloche!
Oh that owl is just the cutest! It just reminded me the owl that hoots at dusk but I haven't seen him lately....Christine
ReplyDeleteI love your decorations. The owl is just beautiful. What a great idea! Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Hi Lynn!
ReplyDeleteCute pumpkin. Your cloche is wonderful.
Jordan's birthday is December 23 and he gets a Christmas ornament each year for one of his gifts. Have you ever been to Frankenmuth? It's a must for Christmas enthusiasts. Jordan and I will be visiting weekend after next.
Have a great day! La
I just love that little owl ornament. He's so cute underneath the cloche. Love the natural look too and your sweet little pumpkin.

Oh how cute...I love your owl!
ReplyDeleteHi Lynn, Now I know why you like my owl,Hootie! Your little "Hoo Me" could be my little guy's pal! LOL I sure didn't think to go to my stash of Xmas ornaments to find things for my cloches. But then, the piles of boxes they're in are waaay too daunting! Glad that you reaped the benefits of your generosity to your friend. :-)

I've been looking forward to the cloche party for a couple weeks - LOVE the little owl under glass, and love that you surrounded him by all the little wonderful bits of nature. Just very sweet!
ReplyDeleteThat is too cute. I also love bird ornaments for the tree... anything to do with nature actually. I love the way you set everything up:)
ReplyDeleteYep, I get the whole Christmas ornament addict thingy too!! Maybe someday I will post Santa's workshop which is what my family calls the attic where I keep the stash! I have some clip-ons, but I find they are hard to keep upright (maybe too much Christmas punch), but my real weaknesses are snowmen and little houses! We have quite a few owls too as my son was very intrigued by them when he was little! I never thought of putting them in a cloche but maybe this year...maybe a few new ones could go in it... Linda
ReplyDeleteFall in a bag.. wonderful thought. I love your owl and he's adorable under the cloche!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful owl! Perfect for a fall party.
ReplyDeleteThe owl is darling. Especially in the cloche. I just bought some real pumpkims myself but not in time for pics. hugs♥olive
ReplyDeletevery cute cloche!
ReplyDeleteHe is such a pretty ornament. He deserves his own cloche. You have arranged the natural elements beautifully. Great idea. laurie
ReplyDeleteOh what a charming little guy tucked under glass. I just love your touch, Lynn!
ReplyDeleteThis is so creative! I'm partial to owls, but this is truly one of the best ones I've seen. ~ Sarah
ReplyDeleteOhhhh we must be distant kin. I love clip on birds too! My favorite is a peacock with a very thin neck. I know that one year I will open up its box and it will be crying time lol. Cute owl!
ReplyDeleteOooh... I LOVE the owl and the different textures inside the cloche. I have an idea for something similar now ... hmmm... I am an ornament fiend myself, collecting since I was 16 and I'm ALWAYS looking for ways to display them other than on the tree. So... now I have to get another cloche so I can copy your idea in my own way. Just wait until my husband sees all the cloches, lanterns and terrariums come into the house. Uggh...
ReplyDeleteLove it! I just bought some fall things today... I'd better get hoppin'..
ReplyDeleteWarm blessings,
Spencer
What a sweet fall display. Love your cute owl! How nice that you were able to get fresh fall cuttings. Here in So. Calif., we are not getting the fall colors as yet. But there are hints here and there! Take care and have a great weekend! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteOh my! Whooo would have thunk? LOL! I love it! This is wonderful and very creative. Beautiful owl! Mmmm...passing out seeds is a wonderful idea! Nice pumpkin!
ReplyDeleteLook at that sweet little hooter! :)
ReplyDelete~Liz
What a lovely vignette! I adore the owl...and of course the pumpkin!
ReplyDeleteOh how I love fall!
Enjoy!
Cathy
That looks wonderful, Lynn! That worked out well with the owl. How nice of your co-worker to bring you a pumpkin from the seeds you gave him. If you haven't done so, you might want to either get rid of the acorns or bake them in the oven. I have no experience wih it myself, but I understand you could have a bug issue if you don't.
ReplyDeleteGREAT cloche display....WOW, aren't owls the *in* thing right now :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Gail
I love this one...very different than most, which is fun to see. I have several old bird clip Christmas ornament that were my grandmother's. It would be fun to have an entire tree done with them. Love that owl!

Very cool! I say that this is a good addiction. My kids will be inheriting cookbooks, cookware and platters.
ReplyDeleteI'm an ornament addict too - so you're not alone. I'm starting to run out of room on the tree, though ;)
ReplyDeleteLove your owl under glass!
Sweet sweet cloche!! I so didn't make it to sweet Marty's party this year. All this fruit and canning has kept me in the kitchen! Peach Salsa tomorrow!
