No I'm not pigging out,
just trying to cool my snout.
The sun is high and brightly seen,
a perfect day for Vanilla Bean.
I gave my order and paid,
to enjoy a scoop in the shade!
I saw this pic on seriouseats.com and loved it!
If you too have the craving...
Here are a couple easy homemade ice cream recipes I've made: Pina Colada and Mocha Latte
and if you're feeling adventurous... Daylily Ice Cream.
and if you're feeling adventurous... Daylily Ice Cream.
Have a happy day:@)
We were just discussing the need to pull out the ice cream churn around here. I'll bet that mocha latte says, DEBBIE.
ReplyDeleteGah... that picture is too cute!
ReplyDeleteOMGosh...that pig eating the ice cream makes me think of yesterday. I "cooled my snout" with some Pineapple Upside-Down Cake ice cream from Publix. It was soooo good.
ReplyDeleteThe Day Lily ice cream really sounds interesting. I'm saving your recipe for Hubby. He makes home made ice cream in an electric "churn", and our day lilies are blooming like crazy. Thanks for the recipes.
The picture is just too cute :) over here the temperatures have been rising so lots of ice cream!
ReplyDeleteI will definitely check out your recipes!
Have a great day,
Barbara

Hello Lynn, We have recovered from two weeks of grands and constant rain and I'm back. I loved the poem and the pic was unexpected. Thanks for the smile this morning. Adorable. I remember the piglets on our farm growing up. We loved them but the mother pig was never far away. She did not let us near her babies.
ReplyDeleteHope you are enjoying your summer. Home made ice cream was a treat every weekend when we lived on our dairy farm in the summer. Yum.
xo, Jeanne
