A little 5" ceramic Santa that was made in Japan, 50¢. An old Woolworth's item maybe?
And of course I found some ornaments. A glass bell and a hand beaded one too.
I have a true appreciation for the amount of work that goes into beading and love adding to my small collection of beaded ornaments.
These old blown balls really have a great shape, I was thrilled one was gold! The other is more of an aqua color but for now I'm calling it 'green' and tucked it towards the back of the tree... I'm trying to keep to a red, green, gold, silver and white theme for the tree these days~it's challenging. 50¢ each.
This silly mug came from Dollar Tree and just makes me smile.
I hope your Christmas is full of fun finds and magical memories-enjoy:@)

ReplyDeleteHi Lynn,
ReplyDeleteI stopped in to a favorite antique shop on my way back from Christmas lunch with my nieces last week and found a wonderful old green and gold plate for a few bucks. It called my name so I had to answer and bring her home. It has a girl and a deer on it so I couldn't resist. Love all your vintage goodies, that gold ball has a beautiful tear drop bottom. Hello to Santa's helper in the ball! ;)
Hope your Christmas was wonderful! xoxo, T.
Wow! I love all your thrifty finds. I also liked seeing you in your Santa apron, reflected in your new ornament.
ReplyDeleteCute finds! Enjoy the post Christmas week and have a Happy New Year!
