In my mind's eye these little Bunny Kisses were going to be sooooo cute and stand up on the serving platter. In reality they fell over in the oven, my homemade dough was a little too soft to shape correctly and they required a little more... patience than this Philly Girl has. But I wanted to share the idea because I'm sure someone will make them amazing:@) I did put them in the freezer for 10-15 minutes before baking, thought it couldn't hurt.
We're talking pie crust and Hershey's Kisses, that's it folks!
I cut strips of dough about 1" wide, wrapped and formed it around the Kiss,
gave the top a twist and tried to shape ears.

Wishing you all Bunny Kisses...

Just call them "recumbent" bunny kisses! Sounds delicious!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
oh, i still think they're as cute as heck!
ReplyDeleteI bet they were delicious! I've got to give them a try!
ReplyDeleteAnother really cute idea! I wonder how a sugar cookie dough would make them a little more 'perky'? LOL
ReplyDeleteI don't think they flopped at all Lynn! I think they're adorable! AND if they have chocolate inside, that's even better!

I'm with Jenna and think they're adorable, Lynn, and I'll bet so tasty, too. I would love one just a little warm from the oven...mmmmm!
ReplyDeleteHow do they taste? They look adorable. I was worried because I thought these might be the bunny rolls I recently pinned.
ReplyDeleteAwww...just call them flopsy bunnies. :) Pie crust and kisses sound yummy!
ReplyDeleteI bet they're DELISH!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute idea Lynn and I know they were delish! They don't look blooperish at all! I was just thinking of Flopsy, Mopsy and Peter Cottontail when I saw the comment above :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute and so easy. You should name them one of the Cottontail gag's name.
