Easy St. Patrick's Day Tree Skirt

It's time to start thinking about changing out the hearts to clovers... no blarney:@) I bought this fabric years ago to make a table runner and had enough left over for a little St. Patrick's Day Tree Skirt. While I kept it very simple the idea I wanted to share was adding a little fringy bling to the edge with shiny garland. This one was from The Dollar Tree, but there are different ones to choose from in the craft stores, etc. I just hand sewed it to the edge of the skirt.

Since this skirt is for table top trees, and I was limited by the amount of fabric I had left over, it's about 17" across.
Maybe I'll work on decorating the tree today, sounds like a good project for another snowy Saturday:@)

Stay warm and have a happy day!

  2. This is so cute, Lynn! I love that you do a tree for all the different holidays. St. Patrick's Day has always been one of my favorites; it's just so cheerful somehow. Maybe it's because we know that most of winter is behind us by then. Decorating that tree today sounds like a great idea to me. :) Have a great weekend, my friend!

  4. I look forward to seeing how your tree is decorated. We are pretty much snowed in today so I got my St. Patrick's Day decorations out to decorate the mantel.

I hope you see my comment because all mine are coming back as failed messages. I don't know if it's a blogger problem, google problem or what.
Anyway, enjoy your time decorating your 🍀 tree!
