This might explain a lot...

Could this have something to do with the Elf on a Shelf's mischievous behavior?
just a thougt :@)

Is there an Elf in your family? I would have had a lot of fun with this when my boys were little.
If you do have an Elf or want to get or make one, I understand he comes to live with you the day after Thanksgiving. You can read a little HERE. Basically the rules are:
  1. You have to give him a name and adopt him.
  2. He shows up in a different place every morning.
  3. He can't be touched or he loses his magical power to fly back to the North Pole at night to report to Santa about the kids naughty/nice behavior.
  4. During the day he can't talk or move.
So, that's what you need to know... Have some fun with the kids!

PS-And Grandmoms, I don't see why a "helper" Elf can't come for a visit or sleep-over at your house when the kids do, you know, just to be able to report to Santa about that too:@)

Have a happy day!
