Barbie Cape, Shawl or Vest from Michaels Craft Store Doily-No Sew Tutorial

Here's a fun, quick idea for a Barbie Cape, Shawl or Vest using a Doily from Michaels, this one's almost too easy folks! I promise that most of these ideas are no sew but couldn't resist sewing a cute little Scottie button onto this cape, such a fun way to close the cape:@)

 Here's the wrapped shawl version, just overlap the front.

The vest can be open or closed, a ribbon belt or couple buttons
would be really cute on the vest too-just sayin'. 

The back:

We've all seen these doilies in the $1.50 bin at Michaels (90¢ with a 40% off coupon), they come in great seasonal colors and the 8" size is perfect, you just need to remove the tag.

 Simply fold it down a bit (this creates the collar), turning the shorter side to the outside.
Wrap it around Barbie's shoulders or stick her arms through the holes in the back for the vest. 
Easy peasy, elegant and inexpensive-I like that kind of craft:@)
